Rebecca Shanks, MSc

Senior Consultant

Rebecca joined Aquatera in May 2019 and provides project management for a variety of projects ranging from renewable energy projects, ecology projects, blue economy development, and aquaculture development. Rebecca also provides technical support for projects in these areas.

Rebecca has a background in marine biology, zoology and marine resource management which has led to has a keen interest in how healthy oceans can aid sustainable development and thriving coastal communities.

She haresearch s experience in oil and gas permitting, environmental monitoring, EIA, studies, socio-economic impacts, stakeholder engagement, report writing, integrated energy systems, aquaculture consenting and permitting, and blue economy development.  She carries forward strong data interpretation and reporting skills to the current team.  Rebecca has excellent project management and team co-ordination skills and has a strong track record of project management roles.
