Xabier Remirez, MSc

Senior Consultant

Xabier joined Aquatera in 2021, after working for twelve years at one of the Spanish marine test sites, where he gained a deep understanding of the developers needs as operations engineer and later as platform operations manager. He has a mechanical engineering background, and wide experience managing a variety of renewable energy projects, from wave energy converters to offshore wind and floating solar. He also has experience with oceanographic moorings design, operation and maintenance. After graduating, his engineering skills were also developed in the automotive industry for five years.

Xabier is based in the Canary Islands and is part of the Aquatera Atlántico team.
