Lara Diamond, BSc (Hons) Geography
Graduate Intern
Lara joined Aquatera as a graduate intern in January 2025. She is excited to get involved in a varied role, supporting project work in which she can draw upon her educational background at the University of Glasgow, where she completed modules in a range of physical, human, environmental and political geographies – including modules in Biogeography and Nature Conservation, GIS, and development. Her main interests developed through her studies, are in sustainable development, and the accessibility of engaging with environmentalism, with a focus on intersectional barriers to engagement.
Lara assists in Aquatera’s Marketing, Promotion and Communications activities where she draws upon skills developed from her role with the Royal Scottish Geographical Society on the Youth Advisory Team, holding the position of Editor of the publication ‘The Young Geographer’. She will be assisting with data management in support of Aquatera’s ongoing RADMapp development, as well as in other projects in which she can draw upon her experience from her studies and previous work.
