Anna Marriott, BA (Hons), MSc (Hons)
Senior Consultant
Anna is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager with Aquatera working on a wide variety of projects particularly focusing on renewable energy and decarbonisation. Anna has diverse experience in environment, renewable energy, journalism and communications, and a BA in Environmental Studies from Mount Holyoke College in the US and a Masters Degree in Renewable Energy Development from Heriot-Watt University’s International Centre for Island Technology in Orkney. Anna joined Aquatera in 2019 as a senior lead on ReFLEX Orkney, a pioneering UKRI funded project to demonstrate an integrated, affordable, low-carbon energy system for the future. Anna’s role included service design and delivery, marketing, customer and stakeholder engagement, project management and replication consultancy. Since September 2022 Anna has broadened her work with Aquatera to project manage a variety of projects ranging from wind and hydrogen to aquaculture. Prior to joining Aquatera Anna has been a BBC political journalist and run her own video & TV production company and communications consultancy. Anna’s background gives her the skills to deliver a wide range of hands-on work and to lead multidisciplinary, multi-partner projects.
