Intern Consultant

Ika joined the team as an Intern in January 2024, while she continues to progress with her Research Masters at ICIT Herriot Watt University, focused on marine renewable energy – offshore wind development for Indonesia. Her main areas of interest are renewable energy, sustainability and grid integration; and is working closely with the Indonesian government (the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources), who she worked for prior to moving to Orkney, to support Indonesia’s energy transition.

She has a background in electrical engineering, and has worked in the oil and gas industry.
