Sarah joined Aquatera in 2013 with an MSc in Marine Resource Management. She is principally engaged in a number of EIAs for proposed demonstration and commercial scale renewable energy developments within the Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters (PFOW) Strategic Area; and in the project management of EIAs for large-scale marine aquaculture sites. She is also experienced in the planning and management of baseline environmental surveys to inform the development of marine sites including MBES, benthic ROV and intertidal surveys.
Sarah has also managed and supported a number of international projects including the development of a global tidal resource database to identify technical resource and market potential in areas supporting specific business models; and the development of an international database of energy, environment and trade policy instruments with impact analysis criteria to provide a global energy outlook and enable the forecast of potential future demand and supply of hydrocarbons.
